An Australian WWI veteran and his wife begin a new life at a lighthouse on an isolated island. Once settled, a lifeboat washes ashore with a newborn inside, and the couple make the fateful decision to raise the infant as their own. Starring Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander.

Reel Chat is not a high-brow film critique, rather a relaxed and informal conversation about the movie shown and an opportunity to have fun with other movie lovers.

• If watching the film at the library, please arrive on time as the screening will begin promptly at 1pm.

• If you plan to participate in the discussion virtually, please watch The Light Between Oceans on your own and then join the group discussion at 3:20pm on Thursday, July 25th. You can borrow The Light Between Oceans on DVD/BluRay through the Nassau Library System.
